My approach with my clients can be described as gentle & collaborative. We work together to find a middle ground and shape from there. There is no working through tears, only making sure the client is being seen and heard. This is also a judge-free zone. Whatever system you had before working together was out of survival, and we can work together to change it. I also push for self-care and mental health. If the parents needs are not being met, how can he/she/they care for others?

Meet the Team

A woman smiling and winking at the camera in front of a fountain with water cascading down.

Marissa Amat-Rogers, MS, BCBA, is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 9 years of experience supporting children and families through compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She believes parents are the most important change-makers in a child’s life and centers her work on collaboration, trust, and emotional safety.

As an independent BCBA, Marissa provides parent training and coaching without the constraints of large agency requirements, allowing her to prioritize clinical quality, ethical decision-making, and truly individualized care. Her gentle approach to ABA focuses on understanding the why behind behavior, reducing family stress, and building meaningful, functional skills that fit naturally into everyday life.

Marissa specializes in parent-led and hybrid service models, early intervention, and caregiver empowerment, and is passionate about delivering services that honor neurodiversity while remaining grounded in data-driven, ethical ABA practices.
