Beauty in Behavior’s Parent Coach Collective is your trusted platform for connecting BCBAs ready to break out of the mold with families ready for meaningful behavior change.

We proudly host providers who prioritize inclusivity, neuro-affirming care, and cultural humility in their practice.

The system isn’t brokenit was built that way.

You’re probably all too familiar with companies that prioritize profit over people: underinvesting in staff and parent support, while families get only bits and pieces of expert care from overworked professionals. Low reimbursement rates, large caseloads, high burnout: all signs of a system that wasn’t built with us in mind. Working in insurance-funded ABA has conditioned us to accept slow client progress, extended reauthorizations, revolving-door RBTs, minimal caregiver involvement, and relentless billables as “normal.” But it doesn’t have to be this way.

tell me about it!

Hey BCBA!

You don’t have to work in a “bill mill” to make ends meet or fill your cup as a helping professional. In fact, you don’t have to work in a traditional autism setting to make an impact, earn what you deserve, and still end your day with your sanity intact.

There are amazing leaders in the field who are working tirelessly to change the landscape of traditional ABA. But at Beauty in Behavior, we’ve shifted our focus to empowering parents and we need your help to do just that.

We promote a service model that puts parents at the forefront of behavior change, equipping them with the tools they need to lead their homes with connection, confidence, and consistency.

Imagine helping parents master the strategies that make the biggest difference for their family, while building a life that’s both sustainable AND fulfilling for you.

you can have both!

Why Parent Coaching?

In 2024, traditional ABA providers utilized only about 26% of authorized family service hours. That’s 820,000 authorized hours per month left unused where better outcomes would have been made (Central Reach, 2025). Fewer client losses are reported with higher parent engagement, but what if we made parent engagement our focus instead?

Sneed and Samelson (2022) found that in parent-led models, parents report higher confidence in their parenting, experience lower stress levels, and their children demonstrate stronger progress.

make the shift

Hi, I’m Zandra!

I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, parent coach, and mom of one.

When I was pregnant with my son, I’d already spent over a decade in ABA, hopping through company after company trying to “find the right fit.” I loved the work, but one thing became painfully clear everywhere I went: being a BCBA wasn’t sustainable. As a soon-to-be parent, I was already plotting my escape. How does a full-time, modern-day clinical BCBA, without a village, survive this role as a parent? If I knew one thing for sure, it was that I wasn’t going to stick around in the traditional system to find out.

I wasn’t alone. Countless new BCBA moms shared the same thoughts. Many turned to part-time roles in big-box ABA hoping for balance, only to find the trade-off wasn’t worth spending time away from their kids. I discovered that same truth: even in a low-intensity role, the system still held so much control. If I was going to spend any time away from my family, I want to do work where my effort matches my impact.

The Parent Coach Collective was created to give BCBAs a new path outside of traditional autism services, while offering families high-quality, individualized support, without the challenges of insurance-funded care. My mission has always been to help people see the beauty in behavior, whether through fieldwork supervision, dissemination, or parent coaching. Now, the Collective brings a whole new meaning: helping BCBAs ready to break out of the mold rekindle their love for the science by providing an approach that works with their values, not against them. I’m thrilled to bring the Parent Coach Collective to life to do exactly that.

ok count me in!

We’re creating a space that supports families regardless of public funding or policy changes, and extends beyond autism services. Our diverse collective of BCBA parent coaches lift families up at any stage of parenthood, whether the challenge is behavior, sleep, health, or something else, so you’re not limited to the boxes that traditional services put us in.

They’re exhausted. You’re exhausted. Because neither of you were ever shown a better way. Until now.
