My approach is relationship-centered, compassionate, and practical. At Moment of Behavior, I support families by meeting them exactly where they are emotionally, culturally, and logistically mainly during high-stress seasons such as a new diagnosis or long waits for services. I focus on helping caregivers understand the why behind behavior, reduce shame, and build confidence using tools that work in real life, not just clinical settings. Support is never one-size-fits-all; it’s collaborative, flexible, and grounded in trust.

Meet the Team

  • Kea Lee, M.S., BCBA, LBA is the founder of Moment of Behavior, a virtual behavior consultation practice dedicated to supporting parents and caregivers navigating autism, developmental differences, and challenging behaviors especially during the overwhelming early stages of diagnosis or while waiting for ABA services.

With over eight years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, Kea has worked across in-home, center-based, and telehealth settings, supporting children and families with diverse needs. While her clinical background is strong, her true passion lies in caregiver coaching. Kea believes that when parents are equipped with knowledge, practical tools, and compassionate guidance, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible not just for children, but for the entire family system.

As a wife and mother of two young children, Kea understands firsthand the emotional weight, uncertainty, and pressure caregivers often carry. Her approach is rooted in empathy, cultural awareness, and real-life application. She helps families move away from guilt, frustration, and confusion and toward confidence, clarity, and connection meeting caregivers where they are while honoring their values, lived experiences, and capacity.

Through Moment of Behavior, Kea provides accessible, evidence-based support that demystifies behavior, reframes challenges as communication, and empowers caregivers to respond with intention rather than overwhelm. Her mission is to change the narrative around behavior by helping families feel seen, supported, and capable, one moment at a time.
